Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Aethersec LTD ("Aethersec", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data in connection with our website, aethersec.com. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to respond to your enquiry and to keep the site secure.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you use the contact form, we collect the name, work email, and message you submit.
- Technical information. To serve and protect the site, our infrastructure and security provider process standard technical data such as your IP address, browser/user-agent, and request timestamps. The contact form is protected by an anti-bot challenge (Cloudflare Turnstile).
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell your data.
How we use it, and our legal bases
- To respond to your enquiry — provide a scope, timeline, and quote, and take steps at your request prior to entering a contract (legitimate interests; pre-contract steps under the GDPR).
- To protect the site — prevent spam, abuse, and fraud via the anti-bot challenge and rate limiting (legitimate interests).
- To keep the service secure and reliable — short-lived server logs for security and troubleshooting (legitimate interests).
Service providers (processors)
We share data only with providers that help us run the site, under appropriate agreements:
- Cloudflare — content delivery, security, and the Turnstile anti-bot challenge (processes traffic and IP data).
- Resend — delivers your contact-form enquiry to our inbox.
Cookies & analytics
The site uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Any analytics we use are privacy-friendly and cookieless (no cookies and no fingerprinting). The Turnstile challenge may store a short-lived token needed to verify the challenge.
Data retention
We keep contact-form enquiries only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting engagement, then delete or archive them. Security logs are retained for a limited period and then rotated.
International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the relevant standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data-protection supervisory authority.
Contact us
To exercise any of these rights, or for any privacy question, please reach us through the contact form on our website and we'll respond.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
